The 21.5-inch iMac from 2017 and 2019 is still a solid desktop. Most were sold with slow hard drives or Fusion Drives, and replacing them with an SSD transforms them.

The 2017 models are A1418. The 2019 Retina 4K model is A2116. The model number is on the base of the stand, and About This Mac shows the year.
The model number is printed in small text on the underside of the stand. It starts with the letter A followed by four digits.
