The 27-inch 5K iMac is the last large-screen iMac Apple made. Memory is easy to upgrade through a door on the back, and older units benefit hugely from an SSD.
Which model do you have?
The 2017 model is A1419. The 2019 and 2020 models are A2115. The 2020 model has the T2 chip and SSD storage as standard.
The model number is printed in small text on the underside of the stand. It starts with the letter A followed by four digits.
