The late 2024 Mac mini was a full redesign: a 5-by-5-inch box with front USB-C ports and the power button underneath. Its storage sits on a removable module rather than being soldered.
Which model do you have?
A3238 is the M4 model and A3239 is the M4 Pro model. It is much smaller than earlier Mac minis, with two USB-C ports on the front.
The model number is printed on the underside of the case. It starts with the letter A followed by four digits.
