The A1706 was the first 13-inch MacBook Pro with a Touch Bar and Touch ID. Its thin design packs the storage onto the logic board, so repairs here are mostly board-level work.
Which model do you have?
Look for A1706 on the underside. It has four Thunderbolt 3 ports, two on each side, and a Touch Bar above the keyboard.
The model number is printed in small grey text on the underside of the case, near the hinge. It starts with the letter A followed by four digits.
