The 2020 Intel 13-inch MacBook Pro was the first 13-inch model with the more reliable Magic Keyboard. It is also the last Intel 13-inch MacBook Pro Apple made.
Which model do you have?
A2289 is the two-port model with 8th-generation Intel chips. A2251 is the four-port model with 10th-generation chips. Both have a Touch Bar.
The model number is printed in small grey text on the underside of the case, near the hinge. It starts with the letter A followed by four digits.

Your data
The storage on this model is soldered to the logic board and encrypted by Apple's T2 security chip. That means data can only be read back through the original board, so when the Mac won't power on we repair the board first rather than removing the drive. See our no-power data recovery service.
